Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness! We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!

Today we picked Steven Tyler. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!


1. And the things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those that got there first.
When was the last time that you wanted to do something, but it was all done before you got there?
Hmm.. I wanted to run a race this past summer .. set the calendar for a Sunday time slot.. only to realize the race was on Saturday ..

2. As good as I am, I'm nothing without my band.
Do you feel there is anyone you could not do without? I think we are given self defense mechanisms so that we can continue with the "without" ... however, I know that my life would take a drastic turn if I were without my teenagers. As much as I complain, whine and scream about them .. I feel like the last 18 years have been for them and with them .. my life would be empty and I would have to reevaluate everything.


3. Back then it was nothing like today. So you'd go to the bowling alley. We bowled and you could be in the back and you could make out, you know? And you know how hot it was to make out.
When you were young and innocent, what place did you make out? How old is young and innocent?? I was raised believing that if you sit on a bed with a boy, you'd get pregnant .. my first kiss was at 15 and I thought it was thee most gross thing EVER! .... so did I make out ... NOOO!! My first REAL parking experience didn't happen until I was WELL into my early 40's ...... hahahahaha! how pathetic was my young and innocent life!!

4. Drugs will get you out of your own way, but we lived it, and that's dangerous. It can actually turn around on itself and steal your soul, and that's what happened.
Were you ever tempted by something that could “steal your soul”?  Do kisses count?
5. Every life has a measure of sorrow, and sometimes this is what awakens us.
How do you deal with sorrow? A good cry and then a long workout

6. Fake it until you make it.
Did you ever have dreams of making it in showbiz in some capacity? uhh... NO!

7. Humility is really important because it keeps you fresh and new.
What keeps you fresh and new? A good workout!
8. I don't mind being a grandfather.
If you are a grandparent, do you at first “mind it”? If you aren't, how do you think that you would feel about it? I'll probably enjoy it WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT .. I hope that I'll experience grandparenting hood when my teenagers are happily married .. in many years from now!
9. I grew up in New Hampshire. My closest neighbor was a mile away. The deer and the raccoons were my friends. So I would spend time walking through the woods, looking for the most beautiful tropical thing that can survive the winter in the woods in New Hampshire.
Do you enjoy winter where you live?  I live in Maine .. maybe the first snow storm .. but now I'm done! It's pretty pathetic when you step outside and you consider 17 degrees "warm" ..... Cancun, anyone??

10. I have to get inspired by something that touches my soul, or rocks my soul.

When was your last trip to a library? It's been a while .. the library was teenager son's favorite place to go. Now that he is so much older, he doesn't ask to go there anymore! I keep thinking I should go .. perhaps when it's kayak season ...

Does your attire properly represent you? Hmm, that depends what I'm wearing! I don't think I'm the best dresser, nor do I believe I have a good sense of style .. casually, I'm most comfortable with a pair of jeans, high heel boots and a white long sleeve t-shirt and in the summer .. shorts, t-shirt and barefeet!
For work I love high heels, a mini skirt and a button down shirt .. what does that all represent??

Do you feel the United States really runs the world? No .. but with the right leadership we should .. haha! Oh, don't get me started ..

When was the last time that you worked in an office like that? uhmm.. I work in a crazy atmosphere now.. it's an HR paradise .. come fix it!

Do you have a will? If yes, have you ever changed it? I have a will that needs to be changed.

How do you feel about bull fighting and hunting? I've never been a lover of the bull fighting scene .. it all started with a little story book called "Ferdinand the Bull" .. one of my all time favorite stories. I recognize the need for hunting and all those manly things .. however, I don't like to hurt God's creatures .. not even the spiders!

7. “Money gives me the creeps and mildly embarrasses me. I get paid too much anyway.”
Have you ever thought that you were over paid for a job? Never! haha!

Are you usually on time for things? I'm aweful .. as hard as I plan ..and work the clock backwards .. I find it very difficult to be on time. I'm not sure what that is about, because I absolutely hate being late.

What are your “pet hates”? Where do I begin? Pet hair ( I can say this .. I have 2 cats and a dog), slow drivers .. poor service ... arrogance .. loud speed boats on a lake .. ill fitting thongs.. haha .. okay that last one was a joke..
